Treak
Traditional mountain caramel
Treak has been made for centuries on mountain-farms in Norway. The use of juniper berries was connected to the God of Thunder, THor. According to tradition, Treak was a powerful remedy against both evil and illness.
Making treak is a process that requires time and patience. It takes about a day from the time the juniper berries are added to the boil until the product is ready to be packaged. Treak is made by hand, and contains only natural ingredients:
Contains: Cream, brown sugar and juniper berries.
The first delivery to retailers is delivered in a display box. The box is reusable, and a new box is not included when replenishing. The packaging has both Norwegian and English text.
The product has a shelf life of 1 year from the date of manufacture.
