Cabinetmaker Thor Bjørklund thought about how the cheese could be cut nicer. He found a solution in 1925 and patented his invention.
Now, almost 100 years later, the cheese slicers are still produced in the Norwegian village, Ringebu, under the brand Bjørklund1925.
